New Slate of Classics Features Two Special Events
Plano, TX, August 27, 2014 - Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), one of the world's largest motion picture exhibitors is pleased to announce the next round of the Classic Series movies featuring six timeless comedies and dramas. Beginning August 29 in over 150 Cinemark, Century and Rave theatres across the country, these digitally restored movies will be scheduled to play Sundays at 2:00 pm and Wednesdays at 2:00 and 7:00 pm. Two of the films will feature additional showtimes.
The six films include Ghostbusters, Scarface, The Nutty Professor, Dr. Strangelove, Gone With The Wind and M*A*S*H. Individual tickets for Cinemark's Classics Series are now available at www.cinemark.com or at the participating theatre box office. A bundled ticket option is available for $30 for all six movies.
"In recognition of Ghostbusters 30th anniversary the film will run for a full week with regular showtimes beginning August 29th," states James Meredith, VP Head of Marketing & Communications for Cinemark. "And Gone With The Wind will show twice each day, at 2pm and 7pm on September 28 and October 1, so audiences will have one additional chance to see this landmark movie."
