Bill Paxton, Director and Co-Star of Frailty, to Appear at Cinemark Premiere on April 3
Dallas, TX… -- Bill Paxton, who has been in some of Hollywood's most successful films, will be appearing at the Cinemark Premiere of his new film, Frailty. The Premiere will be at the Cinemark Theatre located at Webb Chapel and LBJ Freeway in Dallas on Wednesday night, April 3, 2002 at 7:30pm.
Frailty is a multi-layered, tightly woven thriller starring Matthew McConaughey and Bill Paxton. In addition to co-starring in the film, Paxton will also be making his directorial debut. Set in present day Texas, the film centers on the FBI's search for a serial killer who calls himself "God's Hands." McConaughey portrays a young man who approaches the lead investigator with information on the killer. Mr. Paxton portrays the killer's father in a series of flashbacks.
Paxton's accomplishments include roles in the films A Simple Plan, Twister, Apollo 13, Aliens, and most recently in Vertical Limit and U-571. He was also nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in HBO's A Bright Shining Light.
Mr. Paxton will make his red carpet entrance at the theatre beginning at 6:30 pm. The Cinemark Premiere of Frailty is an invitation-only event sponsored by Lions Gate Films and Cinemark. At the Premiere, ten winners of a Cinemark-sponsored contest will have an opportunity to meet Mr. Paxton before the screening.
