Gracie Robinson from Movies 14 in Pueblo, CO Chosen as One of 10 Finalists in Cinemark Theatre’s National Speed of Service Contest

Plano, TX...Gracie Robinson will represent the city of Pueblo, CO and the Northwest, Rocky Mountain and Western Regions in the Cinemark Speed of Service National Finals on July 14, 2007, at the Cinemark Carefree Circle Theatre in Colorado Springs, CO. The Speed of Service challenge is designed to reward outstanding employees from all Cinemark theatres across the country for speed and efficiency at the concession stand. Ms. Robinson competed against fellow Cinemark team members at the local and regional level to advance to the National Finals.

The competition takes place Saturday July 14, from 6-9 P.M. Finalists will compete as a team during the three-hour shift to beat the total amount collected at the concession stand by last year’s Speed of Service finalist team. If successful, each team member wins $1,000.

During the competition, each individual will also be competing for more cash in three categories during a three-hour shift based on: 1) most dollars collected per shift, 2) most units sold, and 3) fastest transaction time (dollars per second) per shift. The total prize package for this portion of the competition is $1,000.

Ms. Robinson has been employed at Cinemark for five months and will be a senior at Pueblo County High School. She is involved in Marching band, Future Business Leaders of America, the National Honor Society, and music. Other finalists will be coming from Gahanna, OH; Sand Springs, OK; Jacksonville, FL; Kenosha, WI; Jacinto City, TX; Sandy, UT; Mansfield, OH; Plano, TX and El Paso, TX.
