Plano, Texas (June 20, 2007)...Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") will open a new 16-screen Century theatre complete with all stadium-seating, all digital projectors and four 3D capable screens in Bloomingdale, Illinois, on Friday, June 29, 2007. The new theatre will be located at the Stratford Square Mall at 804 Stratford Square.

Bloomingdale’s newest movie theatre also offers online ticketing, and concession stands providing candy, freshly popped popcorn, and Coca-Cola fountain drinks. Online ticketing available at www.cinemark.com will make it easy for patrons to purchase tickets in advance from the comfort of their home or office. Customers can then bypass lines at the box office and go directly to a kiosk in the theatre lobby, where they may print their own tickets purchased online using a confirmation number given at the time of purchase. The kiosk also allows ticket purchases via a major credit card or Company gift card. In addition, online customers can sign up to receive weekly showtime emails directly from the Company by signing up for free at www.cinemark.com.

All 16 auditoriums will be outfitted with cinema quality digital projectors. Digital cinema allows movie-goers a clear picture and crisp sound every time. 35mm film is susceptible to fading and scratching after repeated viewings. A digital presentation is the same every time it is projected on screen, so the film is presented exactly as the filmmaker intended. Digital cinema will also allow the new theatre to show films in the newest 3D format in four of its auditoriums.

Several events are planned for Grand Opening week, including a canned food drive benefiting the Northern Illinois Food Bank on June 23rd at Stratford Square Mall. For every 2 non-perishable food items brought to the collection area at Stratford Square Mall, patrons will receive a pass for the Wednesday, June 27th Charity VIP Night which includes free movies, fountain drinks, popcorn and video games on free play. Grand Opening Day giveaways include a free Cinemark grand opening t-shirt for customers who purchase a large fountain drink at the concession stand, while supplies last. Kids Day is planned for Saturday, June 30th from 12pm-4pm with free face painting, balloon animals and photo opportunities with costumed characters.
