CINEMARK WILL OPEN A NEW 16-SCREEN THEATRE ON AUGUST 17, 2007 AT TWENTY NINTH STREET IN BOULDER, COLORADO

Plano, Texas (August 6, 2007)...Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") will open a new 16-screen Century theatre complete with all stadium-seating in Boulder, Colorado, on Friday, August 17, 2007. The new theatre will be located at Twenty Ninth Street, 1700 29th Street.

Boulder’s newest movie theatre will offer stadium seating, online ticketing, and concession stands providing candy, freshly popped popcorn, and Coca-Cola fountain drinks. Online ticketing available at www.cinemark.com will make it easy for patrons to purchase tickets in advance from the comfort of their home or office. Customers can then bypass lines at the box office and go directly to a kiosk in the theatre lobby, where they may print their own tickets purchased online using a confirmation number given at the time of purchase. The kiosk also allows ticket purchases via a major credit card or Company gift card. In addition, online customers can sign up to receive weekly showtime emails directly from the Company by signing up for free at www.cinemark.com.

"We look forward to partnering with Macerich Properties to bring ‘The Best Seat In Town’ to Twenty Ninth Street," says Tim Warner, Cinemark’s President. "Century Boulder will be Cinemark’s eighth theatre in Colorado."

Several invitation-only pre-grand opening events are planned for Grand Opening week, including a school supply drive benefiting "Crayons To Calculators," a community wide supply drive between six nonprofit organizations in Boulder Valley School District. Starting Friday, August 3rd until Wednesday, August 15th, for every calculator plus other school supply items donated at Twenty Ninth Street Guest Services and KBCO-FM Studios, patrons will receive a pass for the Wednesday, August 15th Charity VIP Night. This event includes free movies, fountain drinks, popcorn and video games on free play. Other pre-grand opening events throughout the week include a Chamber of Commerce breakfast, Press Tour Lunch and Media VIP night. Grand Opening Day giveaways include a free Cinemark grand opening t-shirt for customers who purchase a large fountain drink at the concession stand, and the first 100 customers to purchase a ticket receive a free Cinemark swag bag filled with movie-themed items, while supplies last. Kid Days are planned for Friday, August 17th and Sunday, August 19th from 2pm-4pm with free face painting and balloon animals; and Saturday, August 18th from 2pm-4pm with a photo opportunity with a Harry Potter character.
