HAIRSPRAY SING-A-LONG PRINT TO BE SHOWN AT SELECT CINEMARK THEATRES STARTING FRIDAY AUGUST 3, 2007

Plano, Texas (August 3, 2007)...Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") will be showing special prints of Hairspray at 24 of its locations including Dallas, Las Vegas and San Francisco beginning August 3, 2007. The designated sing-a-long screenings will include subtitled lyrics encouraging movie-goers to sing along with every musical number. For a complete list of Cinemark theatres, showtimes and to purchase advance tickets please visit www.cinemark.com.

Based on the 1988 film and subsequent Broadway musical, Hairspray takes place in 1960s Baltimore, where dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on "The Corny Collins Show" and wins. She becomes an overnight celebrity, a trendsetter in dance, fun and fashion. Perhaps her status as a new teen sensation is enough to topple Corny’s reigning dance queen and bring racial integration to the show. The film’s cast includes John Travolta, Michelle Pfeiffer and newcomer Nikki Blonsky.
