PLANO, TX – (August, 2007) – Cinemark International L.L.C., a dominant theatre exhibition company in Latin America, announces the opening of a new theatre in Cucuta, Colombia. The Ventura Plaza Theater opened to the public on August 10th.

The new theater is located in the city of San Jose de Cucuta, an important commercial center for Colombia, which is located in northeastern Colombia in the Andes mountains. The new Ventura Plaza Centro Comercial mall offers a unique shopping experience with 180 retail stores, an events plaza for live entertainment and a large food court. The mall is located in the center of the city and is easily accessible to over 1 million people that live in the city and it’s surrounding area.

The theatre is fully equipped with 6 screens; 1,099 stadium-style, reclinable, love seats; Dolby Surround System and enormous wall-to-wall screens.
