CINEMARK WILL OPEN A NEW 16-SCREEN THEATRE
Plano, Texas (December 7, 2007)...Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) will open a new 16-screen Cinemark theatre in Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, December 14, 2007. The new theatre will be located at 10000 Perkins Rowe, Suite 125 in the new Perkins Rowe development.
Cinemark Perkins Rowe will offer stadium seating, online ticketing, and concession stands providing candy, freshly popped popcorn, and Coca-Cola fountain drinks. The kiosk also allows ticket purchases via a major credit card or Cinemark gift card. In addition, online customers can sign up to receive weekly showtime emails by signing up for free at www.cinemark.com.
“The new Cinemark theatre will be the perfect entertainment addition to this stunning development that combines shopping, dining, entertainment, office space, residential living, a grocery store, hospital and hotels into one single community”, says Tim Warner, President and COO of Cinemark USA. “You can find anything you need in this diverse and upscale development.”
Invitation only pre-grand opening events are planned for the new theatre, including a toy drive to benefit Christmas Crusade for Children. For every new, unwrapped toy donated at Citadel Broadcasting, customers will receive one free admission to the Charity Night on December 13, 2007. This event includes a free sneak preview of an upcoming Hollywood film, fountain drinks, and popcorn. Grand Opening Day giveaways include a free Cinemark grand opening t-shirt for customers who purchase a large fountain drink at the concession stand, while supplies last. Cinemark ‘swag’ bags will also be given away to the first 50 customers to purchase a ticket Grand Opening weekend.
