‘U2 3D’ to Open in Digital 3D at Select Cinemark Theatres New 3D Film Stars U2’s Vertigo Tour

Plano, TX – February 12, 2008 – Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (the “Company”) to show U2 3D, the first filmed live action digital 3D film. The film will begin its wide release to digital 3D theaters on Friday, February 22, 2008, in select Cinemark Theatres.

“The U2 3D concert event is one of many of the unique alternative content programs Cinemark offers to our customers,” states Tim Warner, President and CEO Cinemark USA.

U2 3D is a unique cinematic experience that places viewers within the pulsing energy of a stadium concert given by the world’s most popular band. Marrying innovative digital 3D imagery and multi-channel surround sound with the excitement of a live U2 concert – shot in South America during the final leg of their “Vertigo” tour – it creates an immersive theatrical experience unlike any 3D or concert film that has come before. Ushering in a new dimension of filmmaking, U2 3D takes viewers on an extraordinary journey they will never forget.

A complete list of participating theatres as well as ticket and showtime information is available at www.cinemark.com or at the theatre box office.
