CINEMARK TINSELTOWN IN BOARDMAN CHANGES WEEKEND TICKETING POLICIES FOR MINORS
Plano, Texas…Cinemark USA, Inc. will change ticketing policies for minors on weekend (Friday and Saturday) evenings at the Cinemark Tinseltown located at 7401 Market Street in Boardman. Beginning Friday, February 27, 2009 all patrons under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a legal parent or legal guardian to see any movie on Friday and Saturday after 6 p.m. Parents or guardians must stay and watch the same movie with their child on those evenings. Any film, any rating -- G, PG, PG-13 and R -- will require the presence of a parent or guardian with the child under 17 years.
This new policy has been established in response to numerous customer requests for more supervision of exuberant, younger movie-goers especially during the more crowded weekend evening time period. Movie-goers under the age of 17 may come to the theatre without a parent Sunday through Thursday at any time and before 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The goal is to make everyone’s movie-going experience more enjoyable during a prime, movie-going period. It will also give families an opportunity to share quality time together in a fun, entertaining environment.
Similar guidelines have been introduced at several other Cinemark theatres across the country and have received positive feedback from Cinemark customers.
