CINEMARK EXPANDS IN COLOMBIA OPENING A NEW THEATRE IN TUNJA

September 11, 2009, Plano, Texas…Cinemark Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CNK), the world’s second largest motion picture exhibitor, will open a 4-screen movie theatre in Tunja, Colombia on Friday, September 11th, 2009.

The newest addition to Cinemark Colombia is located in the Centro Comercial Unicentro which is the first modern shopping center in Tunja. Staying true to Cinemark’s commitment to a comfortable movie watching environment the theatre will be all stadium seating with reclining seats and expanded legroom. “The addition of Cinemark to the The Centro Comercial Unicentro will add another element to the overall entertainment experience at the mall” stated Valerie Shortall, Vice President Cinemark International.

Cinemark Unicentro will have reduced ticket prices on certain days of the week. There is a reduced price on Mondays and Thursdays and kids under 12 and adults over 60 years of age can enjoy reduced prices on Fridays, weekends and Holidays.

The theatre will open with films for all ages such as Tinker Bell, The Accidental Husband, Public Enemies, The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 and Final Destination 4.
