2007 Speed of Service Finalists

The 2007 Cinemark Speed of Service National Crew-Serve Finals will be held at Cinemark  Carefree Circle in Colorado Springs on July 14.  Region competitions have wrapped up and there is an impressive list of finalists.  And, here are your Top 10 concessionists:

Ashley Moore

Representing the Northeast Region
From: #200 Movies 16 in Gahanna, OH
Age: 16
Date of hire – 1/18/07

Ashley is entering her Junior year at Westerville North High School.  She is involved in Step Team and her church choir.

Gracie Robinson

Representing the Northwest/Rocky Mountain/Western Regions
From: #249 Movies 14 in Pueblo, CO
Age: 17
Length of time with Cinemark: 5 months

Gracie will be a senior at Pueblo County High School.  She is involved in Marching band, FBLA, Honor Society, and music.

Josh Harris

Representing the Southern Region
From: #41 Movies 8 in Sand Springs, OK
Age: 19
Date of hire- 9/1/06.

Josh recently graduated and will attend college this fall.  Josh enjoys sparring, video games, computer programming.

Kate Parnell

Representing the Southeast Region
From: #260 Tinseltown 20 in Jacksonville, FL
Age: 19
Date of Hire: 2/10/06

Kate is a Sophomore at Florida State University.

Charlie Erdall

Representing the Midwest Region

Age 19;
Date of Hire: 4/23/04

Charlie is a Sophomore at the University of Wisconsin of Parkside.  He enjoys playing hockey.

Liz Speckman

Representing the Discount West/North Bay/South Bay Regions

Liz will be a senior this fall at Jordan High School.  She is involved in orchestra.

Jenny Chema

Representing the Discount East Region

Age:18
Date of Hire: 6/30/06

Jenny recently graduated from Crestline High School and will attend the Columbus College of Art & Design in the Fall.  She enjoys drawing, reading, and fishing, and her favorite show is Stargate: SG-1 (which coincidentally takes place in Colorado Springs, Colorado).

Chris Lagerlef

Representing the Central Region

Date of Hire: 11/18/06

Chris will be a Junior at Plano East High School.  His interests include Band, guitar, sailing, and film.

Maricela Ortiz

Representing the Southwest/Southern CA Regions

Age:17
Date of Hire: 10/18/05

This is Maricela’s 2nd time to make the National Finals.  She just graduated from Gadsden High School and plans to attend New Mexico State University in the Fall.

These 10 finalists will be competing on July 14 in the following categories: 
         
$250 – Most dollars collected
$250 - Most units sold
$500 – Fastest transaction *dollars per second
$1,000 – If the team exceeds the amount collected by the 2006 Speed of Service team, each team member takes home $1,000
