On June 1st, Cinemark opened a new theatre in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Vitoria Shopping 8-screen, Cinemark’s 39th theatre in Brazil, contains over 1,900 seats and 49,000 square feet of space. It is located in an upscale neighborhood in Vitoria. The theatre offers stadium seating, Dolby sound, 10 box office ATM’s and wall-to-wall screens. The lobby is one of the largest in Brazil with over 6,000 square feet of space. |

At Cinemark we are always trying to create a fun environment in our theatres. Every year, our customers look forward to our concession promotions and premium offers. This year, we took advantage of the large blockbuster releases Spiderman 3 & Shrek 3 and launched two exciting pan-regional initiatives. As usual the premiums were tied in with combo sales and the early results look very positive. The Spiderman mugs, tubs & Panini comic books were very popular with families and the latest Shrek watches & masks are proving to be a big hit with the kid’s.
