Cinemark Memorial City Opened at Memorial City Mall in Houston, Texas on May 25th with Lots of Excitement!

May 25th was a day filled with celebration and excitement as Cinemark opened its newest theatre at Memorial City Mall in Houston, Texas.  Patrons dressed as their favorite character from “Pirates of the Caribbean” for a chance to win free movies for a year.  Free Cinemark mouse pads and pens were also given away to the first 250 customers who purchased tickets that day.  Over grand opening weekend, there were lots of activities that took place:  special concession offers, meet and greet session with a Shrek look-alike, Kid’s Day complete with face/arm painting and a photo opportunity with a Jack Sparrow look-alike’, free promotional item give-a-ways (t-shirts, one sheets, magnets, hats, masks, etc), Various radio remotes, Caribbean trip give-a-ways, and even a premiere trip give-a-way to see I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

Earlier that week many pre-grand opening activities took place, including Friends and Family on Tuesday, May 22; a special Veterans’ Appreciation Event on Wednesday, May 23; a Chamber of Commerce of Commerce breakfast, a Press Tour, a Film Cutting and a VIP Screening on Thursday, May 24.  Front Row Joe was also there to greet guests as they entered the lobby.  The Texas Copperhead Football Players and Dance Troop also came for autograph session.
