Cinemark Movie Rewards COVID-19 FAQ

While paused, you will not be charged for your regular monthly membership. No additional credits will be issued to your account, and all other benefits (20% off snacks, waived online fees, member pricing for additional tickets) are also on hold while theatres are closed.

You are free to resume your membership at any time by logging in to your account and visiting cinemark.com/movie-rewards, where an option to “resume membership” is available under the ‘Manage Your Membership’ section.

Doing so will resume your monthly membership payments, and your credits will continue to be issued as normal. Please note that all other benefits (20% off snacks, waived online fees, member pricing for additional tickets) will not be usable while theatres are closed.

If your membership was automatically paused by Cinemark, it will continue to be paused until our theatres re-open. We’ll send an email prior to locations re-opening to tell you know when your membership will resume/when your next payment will be.

If you manually paused your membership on your own, the default pause period is 3 months. Your membership will automatically resume after those 3 months are over, and your payments will continue at that time.

Any unused credits on an active or paused Movie Club membership will continue to roll over and will be available to use as soon as theatres re-open.

If your membership was canceled prior to or during our theatre closures, we’ve extended the expiration date for all unused credits by the amount of time our locations are closed in order to allow you to have the full amount of time to enjoy your credits.

We’ve extended the expiration date for all Cinemark Movie Rewards points to June 30, 2020, providing you the opportunity to redeem the rewards you earned.

Any unused, redeemed rewards have been extended through June 30, 2020 to allow you time to use your reward when theatres re-open. We’ll be monitoring the situation closely and are able to continue to extend those expiration dates if necessary.

Absolutely! We definitely want to make sure we celebrate your special day, even if you’re not able to celebrate with us right now. Birthday rewards will be available beginning on the first day of the month of your birthday. Click “redeem” to save it to your account, and we’ll make sure the expiration dates are extended through June 30, 2020 or longer so you have plenty of time to use it when we re-open.

You must redeem the reward to save it to your account prior to the end of your birthday month in order to receive the gift. If you have any questions about this process, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.
