Private Event Participation Terms & Conditions

  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed unless prearranged with your Account Manager and provided by one of Cinemark’s approved national catering partners. Up to a $500 penalty may apply for non-compliance.
  • Sale of event tickets, products or items of any type are not allowed on CINEMARK premises.
  • Distribution of any marketing materials may take place inside assigned auditorium, to event guests only.
  • Coupons, passes or discount offers of any type will not be accepted.
  • Cinemark accepts credit cards and electronic checks for payment. No purchase orders, personal checks, paper checks, cashier's checks, money orders, gift cards, or cash accepted.
  • Movie Rewards members may earn up to 500 points per event. Points are applied by request, after event date. Events are not eligible to redeem for points and do not count toward Movie Club Platinum status.
  • Arrival and departure from the theatre must be within the agreed upon times stated on the Private Event Invoice (“Invoice”) or incur additional Auditorium rent in the amount of $500 per hour.
  • Any and all trash and materials brought into the theatre must be completely removed immediately following the event or CLIENT may incur additional charges. Excessive trashing of a CINEMARK auditorium will incur a cleaning fee of up to $500.
  • Publicity materials concerning the event using the CINEMARK name and logo must be approved, in advance, by CINEMARK.
  • Logo or other on-screen content must be requested from CINEMARK before payment. All content must be shipped for testing/formatting 3-4 weeks prior to event date.
  • Cancellations made 10 or more business days before event date will receive 100% refund, excluding any non-refundable fees. No refund provided for cancellations made less than 10 business days before event date. Cancellations due to non-payment will incur a non-refundable reinstatement fee of up to $100 per auditorium.
  • If theatre must close due to inclement weather, event will be rescheduled.
  • CINEMARK to ship applicable concession vouchers/gift cards upon receipt of payment.
  • No refunds, rainchecks or exchanges for unused tickets, concession vouchers or gift cards. Concession vouchers are only valid on event day.
  • No refunds on tickets if the film plays in its entirety.
  • CINEMARK assumes no responsibility and CLIENT waives any right to claim or demand any indemnity from damages allegedly suffered by a person or property during the event. CLIENT agrees not to leave equipment or personal items unsupervised at any time. Any dispute hereunder shall be settled by AAA arbitration to be held in Dallas, TX by a 3-arbitrator panel.
  • CLIENT releases CINEMARK, its owners and operators, employees and agents from any liability for failure to carry out arrangements as provided herein which are caused by fire, strikes, acts of God, riots, epidemics, pandemics, sabotage, or any other conditions beyond reasonable control of CINEMARK.
  • CINEMARK’s health and safety protocols are available at cinemark.com/cinemark-standard
  • Film titles are subject to change without notice. CINEMARK will be able to confirm the movie title at least five (5) business days prior to event date. CLIENT will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
  • Auditorium assignment may change after event payment is made. CLIENT will be notified immediately.
  • Costumes are welcome; however, no costume masks, face paint or weapons (real or simulated-including lightsabers/blasters) are allowed on CINEMARK property.
  • CINEMARK has the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone. All alcohol servers are to refuse service to anyone who is under the age of twenty-one (21) or perceived inebriated from any substance or drug.
  • Once payment is made, changes to event details including, but not limited to, adding/deducting auditoriums or adjusting date/start time, are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge of up to $100 per request. No changes permitted within 5 business days of event. Concessions may be added with at least 10 business days advance notice prior to the event.
  • CINEMARK to provide staff during and following event to support set-up and provide usual services (HVAC,HVAC, in-house auditorium sound and lighting, clean-up, etc.).CLIENT is responsible for set-up and tear down of any outsourced equipment.
  • Decorations are not permitted in the auditorium, including but not limited to silly string, balloons, streamers, banners, or posters. CLIENT may bring a 6’ tablecloth for display of gifts and cupcakes only. Gift bags may be distributed as guests exit the auditorium and may not contain food or beverages offered at the concession stand, including candy.
  • CINEMARK auditoriums are not equipped with Wi-Fi or Internet connectivity. CLIENT may bring a portable hot spot device.
  • CINEMARK reserves the right to forfeit a private event if an adult (21+ years of age) is not present at all times.
  • For Field Trips or events with predominantly children attending, a ticket must be purchased for every attendee, including chaperones and bus drivers. One adult chaperone, 21 years or older, is required for every 10 children.
  • No changes, additions, stipulations, or deletions to these Terms & Conditions will be considered.
