Movie Club FAQ - Premium Screen Upgrade
Movie Club monthly and annual members can enjoy 1 monthly [Premium Screen Upgrade] that covers the upcharge for any premium screen format including: XD, IMAX and ScreenX for $2.50 per month or $30 per year, plus your Movie Club monthly/annual subscription cost.
Movie Club monthly and Movie Club annual members are eligible to add Premium Screen Upgrade their account. Movie Club Lite members must upgrade to a full Movie Club monthly or annual membership to participate.

Movie Club monthly members will be charged $2.50/month for Premium Screen Upgrade plus their monthly Movie Club subscription cost.
Movie Club annual members will be charged $30 annually for Premium Screen Upgrade plus their annual Movie Club subscription cost.
Premium Screen Upgrades cover the upcharge for XD, IMAX and ScreenX. Additional upcharges may apply for formats like 3D or D-BOX.
You can choose to apply your Premium Screen Upgrade to cover the XD portion of the ticket upcharge, but any additional upcharges for formats like Real D 3D or D-BOX will still apply.
Premium Screen Upgrades are valid for XD, IMAX and ScreenX upcharges only.
You’ll be charged for your Premium Screen Upgrade alongside your normal Movie Club membership fees on your regular billing date unless changed or cancelled.
Existing members: Monthly members will be charged immediately and receive their first upgrade following successful payment. Their Movie Club membership + Premium Screen Upgrades will continue to renew monthly on their next regular billing date.
Annual members will be charged a prorated amount covering the current month + all remaining months of their annual cycle immediately and receive their first upgrade following successful payment. Their Movie Club membership + Premium Screen Upgrades will continue to renew at the full Annual price on their next Annual renewal billing date.
1. Log into your Movie Club account
2. Click the “Movie Rewards” tab at the top of your screen
3. Click “Get Premium Screen Upgrade” button under the “Manage Your Membership” section & complete your purchase.
4. Enjoy your Premium Screen Upgrade, which will be available for immediate use!
You have the flexibility to use your Premium Screen Upgrade on the Premium format movie of your choice. During checkout, simply check the box to have your Premium Screen Upgrade applied to your transaction - just like you do with Movie Club credits.
Yes, you have the flexibility to combine Movie Club credits and Cinemark Movie Rewards with your Premium Screen Upgrades however you’d like.
During checkout, any available Movie Club credits, rewards or Premium Screen Upgrade will show in your cart and be automatically selected for you. Simply uncheck the boxes for any that you don’t want applied to your transaction.
You have the flexibility to use what you want, when you want.
Once you have used all your Premium Screen Upgrades, Movie Club members can buy up to two additional Premium Screen Upgrades per transaction at the same $2.50 price as you purchased your Premium Screen Upgrade. Platinum members can buy up to five additional Premium Screen Upgrades per transaction.
Yes, you can cancel your Premium Screen Upgrades at any time without cancelling your Movie Club account. Unused premium upgrades will roll over and remain active as long as you are a Movie Club member. If you cancel your Movie Club membership, unused premium upgrades and Movie Club credits will expire after 6 months.
If you are a Movie Club annual member and decide to cancel your Premium Screen Upgrades, you will remain an annual member and credits + Premium Screen Upgrades will continue to be added to your account each month until the end of your current annual term. On your next billing date, you will only be charged for your regular Movie Club membership fees and no further Premium Screen Upgrades will be issued unless reactivated.
Your unused Premium Screen Upgrades and Movie Club credits will expire 6 months after cancelation of your Movie Club subscription, just like any unused Movie Club credits.
