School Field Trips FAQ

Field trips are limited to schools, daycares, camps and other youth organizations and may only include students/children, educators, and approved chaperones. Visits are not open to the general public or adult-only groups.

To qualify for field trip pricing, the movie must start before 12PM noon, Monday through Friday and requires 10 workdays advance notice.

Yes, your group will be the only guests in the auditorium.

We require a minimum of 50 people (students, teachers, parent chaperones and bus drivers) to open the theatre early. If you have a smaller group, consider inviting another class or grade level to join.

Field Trip tickets are sold in increments of 25, with a minimum starting purchase of 50 tickets. Price per ticket is $6.00 or $6.50 (+ tax where applicable) depending on location. Concessions are optional and incur an additional cost.

You are limited to the maximum number of seats on your invoice. Day-of additions are not permitted. Only if you have unused tickets, can additional guests be added.

Teachers, school staff, bus drivers, and parent chaperones must pay. No exceptions. Pricing is the same for all attendees.

Cinemark requires payment through our secure online payment link using a credit card, purchasing card, or ACH (electronic check). We do not accept paper checks or purchase orders.

Cinemark offers both new release and select classic titles. CLICK HERE for a list of options.

A new release movie will typically be available for at least two weeks. After the initial two week period, there is no guarantee the film will remain available.

While we don't offer refunds, we will reschedule your field trip if school is cancelled or delayed due to weather. We cannot guarantee the same film will be available for your rescheduled date. Contact your Cinemark Account Manager to reschedule your field trip.

Visit www.cinemark.com/field-trips and complete the reservation request form. An Account Manager will email you with pricing based on your group size as well as discount concession options.

Please submit a request using your estimated attendance. An auditorium will be assigned based on your estimate. If you need more seating after booking, reach out to your Account Manager at least one week prior to the event and they will check availability.

Cinemark does not offer refunds or credits on unused tickets or prepaid concessions.

While concessions are not required, there is a minimum order requirement of 20 per selected item to pre-order discounted concessions. The order is due no later than 2 weeks before your event date.

Cinemark does not accept purchase orders or paper checks. We require payment through our secure link, using a credit card, purchasing card or ACH (electronic check).

Cinemark requires 1 adult chaperone for every 10 students. Chaperones must be at least 21 years old.

Once Cinemark's Film Department verifies film title and auditorium availability, your Account Manager will provide an Event Invoice as official confirmation with payment due immediately.

A copy of your state issued sales tax exemption form emailed to your Account Manager - a number is not sufficient.

Notify your Account Manager for a full refund, when cancelled at least 14 days from event. If your organization or the theatre must close on event day to unforseen circumestances (ex: Weather), your Field Trip may be rescheduled.
